Assist in the collection, decontamination, cleaning, preparation, sterilization, storage and dispensing of all equipment necessary for patient care.
Work & Experience
*Collect daily from all nursing and specialty areas, soiled materials for return to central supplies.*Decontaminates, cleans and prepare for sterilization items and equipments distributed by department.*Assembles and identifies necessary item and processing of special insrtumentn tray provided for various for hospital Department. *Reports missing items in poor condition to supervisor and and assistant supervisor.*Sterilized linen, instrument and other items needed for patient Care and various hospital department. *Properly stores in house sterilized and decontaminated article, awaiting redistribution, received and stores single used pre medical devices from the hospital warehouse and arrange storage in strict date rotation. *Distribution exchanges carts and clinical areas and case carts to Surgery suite.
